We had a busy few weeks, we traveled out to PA & Cleveland area for two weeks, then we were back here for just a day, finding out that my grandfather, Terrance Husband, passed away at 80 yrs old. So, my sister flew in from CA and we went up to the funeral on Thursday. We got to visit with our cousins and aunts/uncles... it was pretty awesome! Then I had the whole weekend with my sweet sister.
Through all this Kyra has had many firsts :)
Nov '13:
- She started smiling the first week she was born, big wide smile, and hasn't stopped since
- Slept 4 hours straight with her Daddy and I got some much needed rest
- Met Grandpa Bill & had her first Thanksgiving
- First ooh & ahhhs!
- She is sleeping in bed with mommy still :)
- Starting holding head up at 3 weeks during tummy time
- Fayola has been pretty cautious of Kyra... only wanting to get just close enough

Dec '13:
- Finally took a bottle from Daddy... she is not a fan of the pacifier or bottle
- 12/20 2 month appt (7 weeks old) - weighed 13 lbs 2 oz & 23 inches (big girl!)
- Mommy's first time back to work, slept all day except for eating and started to sleep in swing
- Tummy time holding head even higher
- 12/26- Rolled over from tummy to back!
- Love to smile! Talking lots with Gooos, gaaas & oooos & ahhhs
- Still sleeps with momma in bed and has a great schedule waking every 3 hrs to eat & going back to sleep
- Follow Mommy & Daddy across the room
We got to meet Baba, Great Grandpa & Grandma McGowan, cousin Jimmy, great aunts/uncles, cousin Taylor & Max. We experienced a crazy snow storm the whole week as we welcomed in the New Year.
