Fayola had a blast turning 2! She LOVES the Birthday song! I want to leave these notes for my daughters as it will be fun to look back on.
Fayola, your strongest traits are intense attention span, quick learner, feisty with a bit of a temper, independent, and you love books! You really just love to sit and play intensely with blocks, letters, any toys, and if we would let you watch TV for half a day you would. You love to watch Blue Clues, Mickey Mouse, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Super Why... you could sit for 4 hours just watching TV.... and I know this b/c when you had the stomach flu you watched TV that long. I have to really limit watching TV to 1-2 hours a day if that... b/c you really need to explore the world :) You LOVE to sing and LOVE your music classes! You have achieved great language skills and know your Alphabet & numbers and a little bit of Espanol. Favorite quotes that come to mind are "Oh my goodness... gracious", "Grrrranola", "I love you soooo much", "Bye, I'm going to work, see you later", singing "twinkle twinkle" & "old macdonald". This year has brought on many colds, the flu, pneumonia, stomach flu twice, ear infections, sinus infections... Daycare has really strengthened your immune system. You love your Daddy and Mommy, I wouldn't say your a Daddy's girl or Mommy's girl, it seems balanced so far. This second year of life has been absolutely wonderul! But... I will say quite challenging as well, as you like to have power struggles with me on a daily basis... oh yes! Cheers to this 3rd year of life ahead of you, as I know you will start to learn the power of relationships, more language skills, more coordination little toe walker girl, and you will be a BIG sister soon :) We love you more each day, and we honor your spirit & strength. ~Mom & Dad
