Crazy morning hair-do
Like I said earlier, we have visited cousins, friends (new and old ;)... but I was horrible at taking pictures :(
We celebrated birthdays, spent much quality time with friends, and I got to visit with my some friends of mine that I miss dearly... you know who you are!
Eric in the mean time was working all by his lonesome up in Chicago, he was able to take his first vacation day and visit in Indianapolis for a weekend. He continues to be very happy with his position with Caterpillar and his days/nights go by super fast! We are looking forward to his next placement, the idea of uncertainty is exciting. I have a job shadow on Monday for a potential job at a manual therapy/ Orthopaedic clinic part-time or PRN... really exciting!
Other than that Fayola and I are busy learning colors, sign language, music class, numbers, listen to Spanish radio.. :) I am enjoying this special time with my daughter, giving her love, structure, consistency, and hoping to foster a creative mind and spirit.
Isn't it funny how when you work so much you just wish for that day off... and when you are at home you wish for independence. Or when you are single you wish for that man to walk into your life, and when you are married you get annoyed with your partner. Or when it is so HOT outside in the middle of the summer you wish for the cool breeze (maybe freezing), and when the sub-zero wind is blowing you wish for the HOT cocoa.... huh? Well I am trying to beat this monster and realize to be in the present... of laughter across the table from my husband, of frustration after cleaning the dishes like 5 times in one day, of looking into my daughter's eyes as she is nursing, of laying my head down on my pillow after communing with God... Life is full of unpredictability and about choosing the path of tribulation in order that you may grow in character and spiritually.
Caught in the middle of a laugh :)
What a mess :)?
