Kyra: 7 & 8 months
7th & 8th Milestones:
Babble babbling
Army Crawling
Trying to master pincer grip
Screaming at Fayola... and Fayola screams back
Sitting up on your own
Transition from sitting to crawling
Trying to sign "all done" & "milk"
Daddy claims you said "dada"
Wave "Hi"... occasionally
Top two teeth coming in
Trying to tip sippy cup
Eating broccoli, asparagus, peas, carrots, mango, apple, pear, banana, bread, egg yolk (you love feeding yourself)
Not a fan of the Ergo baby carrier
Sweet Kyra, "my sweet pumpkin" :), you are such an intense girl, move with power, grab with power, scream with power. You are crawling fast across the carpet, whew! You do not like to stay put for very long. You still do not sleep very well at night, but your not the worst either.. just wake 1-2-3 times per night, hah! Partly because we are sharing a bedroom with you still. But, overall... what I hear the most and I agree is "she is one of the most pleasant babies ever". :) You don't seem to have much stranger anxiety yet. I will take your 8 month old pictures at Fayola's Bday party.
~ We have had a busy spring and early summer. Eric has been ill, but has now been diagnosed and the illness is treatable, praise God for His Mercy and healing. Fayola already had her first of three 3rd Birthday celebrations on June 24th at Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream with the play group and the Eigstis'. It was yummy! I have been able to pick up some extra work and we have a good baby-sitter that has been able to watch the girls. We are looking forward to our summer vacations coming up in July!! Much love to all~
