Fayola's first haircut

So I've tried to cut Fayola's crazy hair, but let's say I've not done the best job... :)

She really just had a bang trim and her hair stylist taught me how to do it :), maybe when she turns 3 she will really have her first total haircut :)

Fayola didn't want to crack a smile, she looks a little sad, but I know she is much happier now that her hair is not in her eyes. We decided to keep the length, not ready to cut her hair short yet :)

Myrtle Beach

 

We headed to Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago for some family time. We enjoyed our trip together and all the time we had to just relax and enjoy each other's company after the harsh winter season. First time I've been to the Atlantic Ocean! In 6 months Fayola has been to the Pacific and the Atlantic Ocean... such a world traveler already :)

Finally to see Grandma after our long road trip home

We had a long trip both ways, stopping through Louisville, KY to see some good friends and South Carolina to see some friends we had in Indianapolis. Fayola held up both ways pretty well, she is such a great girl! I'm glad we went when we did... before I blow up too big:)

Next stop... Fayola turns 2!!

Girl Power!

We found out last week that we will be having another baby girl! We are so excited that she is healthy and developing perfectly. We got all the measurements we needed, but she would not move for us to get a good profile picture, so we will be getting another ultrasound next month to get a view of her :) She kept kicking away, but would not move her head into a good position. She weighed in at 15 ounces last week :)
She is moving and dancing around all the time, especially while I am eating. She sleeps when I sleep so far, and moves when I'm moving. We had the boy  name picked out, we have a girl name in mind, but not for certain yet. Fayola is starting to understand the concept of having a little sister, but points to her belly when I ask where the baby is :)
