Fall is in the air!

I just love fall... crisp mornings, beautiful sunrises, snow in the mountains in the skyline, beautiful colors glistening from the trees, football, chili, hot cocoa (or Chai), snuggling in blankets... the list goes on.

We made a trip down to Portland last week & had a great time with beautiful views of Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Baker, and Mt. Hood. In a two hours drive I saw four mountaintops.... amazing to live here in the Northwest. Everything is still green here, because of the rain... and just two days ago tons of snow falling in the mountains, ski season is about to begin (yah! for Eric, I like to snowshoe & that's about it:)

I have been working quite a bit, but today is my day off & oh how much I appreciate that I have a day off! I am learning a lot from my job here, but also learning more from my patients. I work in skilled nursing facilities on the weekends & I have learned growing old can be what you want it to be if you're offered the choice. I feel honored to meet a whole spectrum of people, I think they help me with my life decisions as much as I help them recover from an injury or pain.

Eric is gaining a lot of client's with selling his discs! He is truly a great artist, I never knew, but he is good! We had a good day on his Birthday, Oreo cake, steak dinner, disc golf gifts, time with eachother. Maybe his "Golden year" wasn't his most rewarding upfront (but deep down I think much has changed for him). We have some wonderful things to look forward to in his 27th year & 2010. I will keep this blog updated for sure.

Here are some pics of his Birthday & other random photos.
