Deception Pass

Eric and I went to Deception Pass this weekend north of Seattle, 1 hour from Canada, on the way to the San Juan Islands ferry. We had a good time it was in the high 70s, we sat by the beach, climbed Goose Rock summit, ate some ham & swiss cheese sandwiches, and relaxed a ton. Just wanted to post some pretty pics. We are looking forward to a nice week after having rain for two days out here. Eric and I are filling out job applications for him... he's still on the search, its been a journey, ups/downs. He is thinking a lot about finishing his engineering degree, we will see what will come through with this summer.

This weekend we are headed down to Redwood forests and possibly San Francisco if we get the urge to drive 12 hours with only a 4 day weekend. Then the following weekend we are driving over the pass to Spokane (4 1/2 hours one way) for Eric's disc golf tournament. Lots of hours in the car, but definitely worth it:)

April Showers... brings May Showers

This is a sunset of the Olympic Mountains! We went home about a month ago & it was so great to see everyone (even if it was just for one hour). We got to visit all our preggo friends & since then lil' Atticus Justice Mathews (our friends Asher & Christina's baby). We went home... and man do I have to say I miss home. There's nothing like Indiana/Michigan flat land... with gentle rolling hills, and nothing like having a thunderstorm followed by an ice storm, or playing disc golf in snow:)

There has been no big changes here, except I finished taking more of my NAIOMT (manual therapy) courses, have touched base with some long lost family members on facebook :) (love you guys) and been working extra hours to make a little extra money. Next month we plan on moving to a friend's house, since they are moving away:( (not 100% sure, but almost). Eric has been searching endlessly for jobs, going to job fairs and searching on the web. He applied for the City of Puyallup for a seasonal position, so hopefully he will land that job soon. Please keep him in your prayers. He has been playing a lot of disc golf, has played in a tournament last month getting 14th place in the Intermediate class, and he will be playing May 9-10 close by where we live.

We also plan on going to San Francisco road trip this memorial day weekend, stopping off to see the Redwood forests and playing disc golf of course:) We will make sure to take a lot of pictures!
